SNAP examination pattern: Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2014 is expected to be held in the third week of December, 2014. The examination will be in a paper pencil format. The pattern of SNAP is stable and does not undergo any major changes every year.

Sections in SNAP:
The SNAP paper will generally have 4 sections, which are General English, Quantitative & Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General Awareness. General awareness have questions related to general knowledge, current affairs, business scenario and analytical and logical reasoning.

Number of questions:
The number of questions in the SNAP paper is 150. 3 sections, General English, Quantitative and data interpretation and data sufficiency; and general awareness have 40 questions each. The analytical and logical reasoning section will have 30 questions.
SNAP test duration:
The duration of the paper is 120 minutes. The sections are not time bound, hence, test takers have to allocate time in each section, so as to not run short of time at the end of the paper.
SNAP marking scheme:
The total marks of the exam is 180. Each question carries 1 and 2 marks. The first 3 sections, General knowledge, current affairs , business scenario carry 1 mark each and the last and the final section analytical and logical reasoning will have 2 marks per question. Negative marking of 1/4 is allotted for every wrong answer.
