The Ministry of Education has announced JNVST Class 6 exam date for the session 2021-2022. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2021 exam will be conducted on August 11 across all the States and UTs for admission to Class VI. The written exam will be held for a total of 47,320 candidates in 11,182 centres. As per the sources, over 24 lakh candidates have registered for JNVST Class 6 selection test. Ministry of Education tweeted, "Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2021 for the selection of students for admission to Class-VI for the session 2021-22 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in all States & UTs will be conducted on 11th August 2021 by following all safety precautions/COVID protocols."

Every year, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) Class 6 written exam is being conducted for shortlisting candidates who seek admission in JNV schools. The selection of the candidates will be based on the written exam. The JNVST Class 6 exam will be conducted in English, Hindi and regional languages. The question paper consists of 80 objective type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The duration of the exam is two hours. The test comprises of three sections namely, Mental Ability, Arithmetic Test and Language Test. The shortlisted students along with their parents or guardians need to go for document verification to secure admission to the JNV schools.
