The Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has announced that the Board Exams for Classes 10 and 12 will be conducted in the State as per the schedule. Gaikwad has denied the reports of Class 10 Examinations being postponed due to the surge in Covid-19 cases.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the final datesheet for Maharashtra Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) Exams 2021. The exams for Class 10 will be beginning from 29 April 2021 and for Class 12 from 23 April 2021.
The students can check the final datesheet of Maharashtra SSC and HSC Exams 2021 at the official website of Maharashtra Board on mahahsscboard.in.
The parents and teachers across the State have appealed for online exams for SSC and HSC Exams 2021 considering the upsurge in Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra. However, the Maharashtra Education Minister confirmed that the board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will be held in offline mode.

The Maharashtra local authorities have been directed to follow Covid-19 protocols strictly and ensure necessary hygiene and disinfection measures in schools where coronavirus cases have been found.
The local administration has been asked to shut the schools in some districts for sometime from March 1 considering the rise in coronavirus cases.
