The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) exam from tomorrow, i.e., April 20 due to a surge in COVID-19 cases across the country. The SSC has taken the decision due to the rising number of Coronavirus cases. The Commission is likely to announce the SSC CHSL exam dates 2021 in due course for the balancing candidates. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam was being held from April 12 onwards. Candidates who are aspiring for the exam are advised to keep visiting the official website for the latest updates.

SSC CHSL Exam Postponed Due To COVID-19

The official Twitter handle of SSC tweeted, "Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Commission has decided to defer the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2020 with effect from 20-04-2021. Fresh dates. @ssc_official__"

The SSC has released a notice regarding the postponement of the SSC CHSL exam 2020 scheduled from April 20. The new dates of the remaining candidates will be released soon.

The official notice reads, "Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Commission has decided to defer the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2020 with effect from 20-04-2021. Fresh dates for the balance candidates of the said examination will be intimated in due course."

Earlier, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier-I 2021 examination on March 27. The written exams are scheduled to be held from April 12 to 27, 2021. The Commission has scheduled the SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam from May 21 to 25 in West Bengal due to Assembly Elections.

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam consists of 100 questions of 200 marks. The duration of the exam is one hour. It consists of four sections English Language, General Intelligence, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill).
